Definitions:


Dispatchers: Answer telephones University wide in the Public Safety Central Communications Center.
Police Officers: Wear navy blue shirts, dark blue pants with a yellow stripe on the sides, are armed, have arrest powers.
Security Officers: Wear light blue shirts, dark blue pants and are not armed.
Detectives: Usually in plain clothes, conduct follow up investigations, are armed police officers with arrest powers.
Other contacts: Managers, supervisors and administrative personnel.
